> In 2006, the Chinese Olympic Committee (COC) selected Octagon as its first-ever marketing agency.  Octagon was tasked with:
      √ Enhancing the Chinese Olympic Committee and Chinese Sports Delegation brand;
      √ Establishing an effective corporate partnership platform;
      √ And developing a comprehensive marketing program for the organization
 

ENGAGEMENT


> Octagon developed the complete 2007-2012 strategic marketing plan for the COC including:
      √ Post-2008 Beijing Games Corporate Partnership Program and Licensing Strategy
      √ Transitional Brand Marketing Communication Strategy and Plan
      √ Brand Strategy and IP in cooperation with FutureBrand
 

RESULTS


>To-date the marketing plan has enabled the COC to obtain six (6) top-tier partners, more than doubling its sponsorship revenue compared to the last Olympic cycle (2005-2008)
> The organization has fully embraced and implemented the communication strategy and slogan and has utilized the commercial logo created by Octagon and its sister agency, FutureBrand
